Reflections on Community Psychiatric Nursing brings together a collection of
previously published articles, which represent the changing trends in psychiatric
nursing over the last decade. Each article is prefaced by a reflective
commentary, which provides a context but also acts as an example of reflective
practice. Much of the book is specifically from the perspective of a
Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) but it is relevant to nurses from other
settings and other readers with a professional or personal interest in mental
health. It provides an overview of many of the major subject areas, as well as
encouraging reflection and debate.
