This outcome report of the global consultation on population dynamics and the post-2015 development agenda
reflects the inputs and collective wisdom of hundreds of participants. Many contributed through the online
consultation on population dynamics at www.worldwewant2015.org/population; others participated in the faceto-
face consultations held with the scientific community, the private sector, civil society and member states. The
global consultation benefited greatly from the rich discussions and insightful contributions and comments from all
participants. We are especially grateful to all those who managed to take time out from their busy schedules to
travel to other parts of the world and participate in face-to-face consultations which were often organized under
